PP Lion Angela Wu

PP LIon Angela joined Vancouver Cambie Lions Club in 1996 and is a Melvin Jones Award recipient.

Angela is presently the Assistant Vice President & Branch Manager of the Aberdeen Centre Branch in Richmond. She has 21 years of banking career with various departments in HSBC.

Angela is originally from Hong Kong and graduated from the University of British Columbia, majoring in Econometrics. In the professional field, she has obtained the Personal Financial Planning designation from ICB and the Canadian Securities Course Diploma from CSI.

Angela started her community work in Vancouver as a volunteer for S.U.C.C.E.S.S. in 1985, and worked on the committee for the volunteer development program. She has been active in the Vancouver community by serving on the boards of several non-profit organizations, including Chinese Federation of Commerce of Canada, Richmond Asia Pacific Business Association and Shanghai Allied Society. She was the past president of the Vancouver Cambie Lions Club and a recipient of the Melvin Jones Award from International Lions Society.

On the personal side, Angela is married with 1 daughter. Her biggest enjoyment is to travel with her family and invite friends over for get togethers.
